- Martina Hacke is a medievalist who specialises in the history of the book trade up to 1525, based on her studies of university history (Paris) and history of communication (envoys and messengers). In terms of her research into the book trade, she has so far focused on the connections between Basel and Paris, as well as Basel and Lyon. To this end, she has studied the activities of travelling booksellers. She has also examined the connections within the book trade of the renowned printers Johann Amerbach and Anton Koberger. She plans to work on the relationship between the French and Italian book sectors.
